Turtle Island of the stars.
The former home to the once fearsome and legendary Corsairs had finally fallen to the might of the Terran Space Fleet. Justice had been swift and those living under the name ‘Corsair’ now faced relentless pursuit, imprisonment or death. After decades of living in fear, the nightmare of the Terran colonies was over at last.
Or was it?
The Terrans thought they’d caught them all, but there was still one left. The one that got away – Sona Kilroy, the most dangerous Corsair of them all!
It was up to Mykl d’Angelo – a man called Adam, and the combined crews of the starships Antares and Mordrake to stop Kilroy before he could start the terror all over again..
Read information about the authorWhile Christina might not be the only writer – or even the only sci-fi writer from South Africa, she is most certainly the most authentic, eccentric and unique sci-fi/fantasy writer to originate from that country!
This is not just because of the characters or settings she creates, or the unique situations she imagines, but also because of her life experiences, her unusual outlook on life – and the strange and often wacky things she notices in the world around her – and of course, her quirky sense of humor! In her fiction, she creates believable characters, and spins gripping tales that transport her readers to distant worlds, becoming absorbed in their lives and adventures!
Christina is the proud owner of a warped sense of humor, and it shows in her writing – and also typically in ordinary conversation!
She writes in the science-fiction/fantasy genre, and occasionally dabbles in horror as well. She has 12 complete books to her name – including a ‘How-to’ book about VW Beetles, a children’s book about bullying, and ten fiction titles.
Christina has quite a lot of diverse life-experience to draw upon in her writing, having been a soldier with the South African Army for 17 years – with all the diverse experience such service brings. Being a woman who looks considerably younger than her age tends to result in people misjudging and underestimating her, usually to their peril.
